Η παρουσία του Μάνου Ιωαννίδη, γνωστού ως "Ο Ζωγράφος των Χρωμάτων", στο Μέγαρο Μουσικής Αθηνών, στο πλαίσιο της όπερας του Γιώργου Χατζηνασίου με θέμα τον El Greco, αποτέλεσε ένα σημαντικό γεγονός για τον κόσμο της τέχνης. Κατά τη διάρκεια της εκδήλωσης, ο "Ζωγράφος των Χρωμάτων" παρουσίασε τέσσερα από τα έργα του: τον Νίκο Καζαντζάκη, τον El Greco, την Jeronima, και τον Γιώργου Χατζηνασίου. Ο Χατζηνασίους ανέβασε το έργο του Καζαντζάκη "El Greco", ενώ ο ζωγράφος των χρωμάτων Μάνος Ιωαννίδης παρουσίασε τα έργα του στο πλαίσιο αυτής της εκδήλωσης. Η εκδήλωση αποτέλεσε μια σειρά από τέσσερις παραστάσεις που πραγματοποιήθηκαν στις 13, 15, 17 και 20 Φεβρουαρίου 2024. Η παρουσία του καλλιτέχνη σε αυτό το πολιτιστικό γεγονός αναδείχθηκε ως μία σπουδαία στιγμή, δίνοντας έμφαση στην αξία και την έμπνευση που φέρνει η τέχνη του.
The presence of Manos Ioannidis, known as “The Painter of Colors,” at the 100% Hotel Show at MEK Paiania, highlighted the artist’s refined aesthetic and professionalism. The event took place from November 18th to 20th, 2023, attracting the attention of industry professionals as well as art enthusiasts. Manos’ presence at this prestigious event confirmed his position as one of the most prominent names in Greek painting, while also demonstrating that his works can successfully enhance the ambiance of hotels, imparting a unique and sophisticated atmosphere to hospitality spaces.
“I hope my works convey to the viewer feelings of joy, optimism and euphoria” Works by the outstanding artist Despina Papandreou are in conversation with the colorist of the “Painter of Colors” Manos Ioannidis at the exhibition “Dive into Color” at the Markidis Gallery in Thessaloniki.
Mrs. Papandreou shared a few words about the exhibition and herself: “My contact with art began when I found myself in a pottery workshop for the first time. It was love at first sight and so I decided to study ceramic pottery. At the same time, I started attending free drawing and painting classes. I started to work more actively with painting in the last 5 years. It was the beginning of a creative journey, which began gradually but steadily and evolves through a dynamic, which is fueled through everyday images, drawings and representations. After many trials in different painting styles, POP ART was the one that won me over. Bright colors, strange forms, this orderly chaos as I like to say, are the main characteristics of my work. In addition, creating through the selection of different materials is a challenge for me, as it provides more possibilities for expression in my works. I hope my works convey to the viewer feelings of joy, optimism and euphoria. I want them to provoke laughter and create a pleasant atmosphere through humorous illustrations that refer to color contrasts deviating from usual forms. In addition, the three-dimensional forms help the viewer to discover something new each time by seeing the work from a different perspective. There is almost always something hidden in my works waiting for you to discover. Her motto for art is that if you see a piece of art that touches you emotionally, then you should own it.
