Κορυφαία εκδήλωση στα ΟΛΥΜΠΙΑ ΕΝ ΔΙΩ αποτελεί το Συμπόσιο του Αλεξάνδρου του Φιλίππου, που παρατίθεται κάθε χρόνο στο Δώμα Μεσογειακών Ψηφιδωτών.

Το «Συμπόσιο του Αλέξανδρου» είναι αναβίωση του γνωστού γεύματος που παρέθεσε ο Μακεδόνας Βασιλιάς, στο Δίον της Πιερίας, πριν αναχωρήσει για τη μεγάλη εκστρατεία κατάκτησης της Περσίας.

Σύμφωνα με τις πληροφορίες που μας δίνει ο Διόδωρος ο Σικελιώτης στο Συμπόσιο παραβρέθηκαν εκατό (100) εκπρόσωποι συμμαχικών Ελληνικών πόλεων.

Τα εδέσματα επιμελήθηκε ο ίδιος ο Αλέξανδρος. Ήταν μαύρος χοίρος του Ολύμπου καθώς και αγριοκάτσικα της περιοχής.

Φέτος το Συμπόσιο του Αλέξανδρου είναι αφιερωμένο στην τοπική αυτοδιοίκηση όπου κλήθηκαν να παραστούν ο Πρωθυπουργός, Υπουργοί, Αρχηγοί κομμάτων, Βουλευτές, Δήμαρχοι και Αντιπεριφερειάρχες της Μακεδονίας καθώς και οι τριάντα πέντε πρέσβεις των χωρών που μετέχουν στις φετινές εκδηλώσεις.

Στον ίδιο χώρο, στο Δώμα των Μεσογειακών Ψηφιδωτών, καλλιτέχνες από την «Επίμονη Τέχνη» θα εκθέσουν έργα τους με θέμα τον «Μέγα Αλέξανδρο».

Στην καρδιά του νοτιότερου σημείου της Ευρώπης, στο μαγευτικό νησί της Γαύδου, φιλοξενείται η έκθεση της «Επιμονής Τέχνης» με έργα του καλλιτέχνη Μάνου Ιωαννίδη. Η έκθεση περιλαμβάνει δύο εντυπωσιακά έργα, τον «Ποσειδώνα» και το «Σούνιο», τα οποία αντλούν έμπνευση από την αρχαία ελληνική κληρονομιά και τη διαχρονική σχέση του ανθρώπου με τη θάλασσα.

Το έργο «Ποσειδώνας» απεικονίζει τη μυθική μορφή του θεού της θάλασσας, αιχμαλωτίζοντας τη δύναμη και τη μεγαλοπρέπεια του. Μέσα από έντονες γραμμές και χρώματα, ο Ιωαννίδης αποδίδει την αέναη παρουσία της θάλασσας στη ζωή των Ελλήνων, ενώ το στοιχείο του νερού γίνεται σύμβολο τόσο φυσικής όσο και πνευματικής δύναμης.

Το «Σούνιο» αντλεί έμπνευση από τον αρχαίο ναό του Ποσειδώνα στο Σούνιο, έναν τόπο συνδεδεμένο με τη λατρεία του θεού και με αμέτρητους μύθους και ιστορίες. Μέσα από το έργο, ο καλλιτέχνης αποτυπώνει την ένωση του ουρανού με τη θάλασσα, συνδυάζοντας τη μαγεία του αρχαίου παρελθόντος με τη σύγχρονη καλλιτεχνική ματιά.

Η έκθεση της «Επιμονής Τέχνης» προσκαλεί τους επισκέπτες της Γαύδου να εξερευνήσουν τη δύναμη της ελληνικής μυθολογίας μέσα από τα έργα του Ιωαννίδη, σε ένα μοναδικό σκηνικό που συνδυάζει την τέχνη με τη φυσική ομορφιά του νησιού.

The women-symbols, working as a source of inspiration for both Greece and the rest of the world, were the focus of the art exhibition “37°”, which took place on Saturday 4/3 under the Sacred Rock of the Acropolis, at the Ilias Lalaounis Jewelry Museum. In view of Women’s Day and in order to honor these defining female personalities, a large number of visitors attended the event to admire the artworks of the exhibition inspired by Chrysa Barzoka’s “Persistent Art” group. The paintings of the painter of colors, Manos Ioannidis dominate the second floor and the Dome of the Museum, rendering in a unique way and with the artist’s characteristic colors, the portraits of Maria Callas, Irini Papas, Melina Merkouri, Marika Mitsotakis, Nana Mouschouri and Vicky Markidou. The presentation and analysis of the artworks by Manos Ioannidis was done by the professor of Art History of Athens University and leading art critic, Manos Stefanidis.

A large number of art lovers attended the opening of the group exhibition titled “EROS” at the Municipal Art Gallery of Thessaloniki, Casa Bianca, making it one of the most crowded in recent times. The visitors held the opportunity to admire paintings, collages, sculptures and installations, accompanied by music, witnessing an unforgettable artistic experience. The melodies of the electric string quartet Fortissimo and the performance of the theater group called “Theater of the past”, complemented the evening in a harmonious way, providing it with a nostalgic tone.

The imposing portraits of Aline Fernandez and Spyros Alibertis, signed by the “Painter of Colors” Manos Ioannidis, filled the central space of the gallery, attracting the attention and gaze of every art lover.

will take place on Tuesday 14 December 2023, at 19.30, at the Municipal Gallery of Thessaloniki –
Casa Bianca.

Inspired by the love story of the Casa Bianca couple, Aline and Spyros, the visual creators of the
artistic group-project named PERSISTENT ART, create paintings, constructions, collages,
installations and sculptures, paying tribute to the passionate love story, which became an urban
legend in Thessaloniki at the beginning of the 20th century. Curator of the exhibition is the visual
artist Chrysa Bartzoka.
The portraits of the protagonists that the “painter of colors” Manos Ioannidis created, will be
exhibited to the public from 14 to 28|02|2023 as part of the exhibition.

Anyone can have the opportunity to admire the artworks of the painter of colors, simply by
visiting the Petridis lighting shop, situated at the street Adrianoupoleos 6 in Thessaloniki. The characteristically colorful portraits of Melina Merkouri, Irini Papas and Marias Kallas, are dominantly placed at the front space of the store, highlighting it in an ideal way and filling it with artistic intensity!
